Introducing Rusty
After months of waiting, Adam finally picked up our kitten, Rusty, last Friday. Rusty is an American curl, a breed distinguished by its ears which are curled back. American curls are also known for their playfulness and affectionate nature which describes Rusty to a tee. Most cats are wary of strangers but Rusty has immediately warmed up to anyone who's walked through our door. He also loves playing--besides sitting in our laps, one of his favorite activities is stalking and pouncing.
I've been waiting all week to take the perfect photograph but, unfortunately, between the flash eye effect and Rusty's propensity for approaching the camera when I try shooting a photo, it's been a challenge but here are some photos I've taken his first week here.
