World Expo
One thing we look forward to seeing in Japan is the World Expo. I've never been to one before and one of the themes of this one is sustainability which is right up my alley. I think I'll be a little scared of these though.

Update
I know--it's been a while since I last posted. What's happened since the last entry? I turned a year older, I've walked past The Gates every weekday for the last few weeks (I work near the Gates) dreading walking into my office because it's been so slow, Adam was asked to attend a conference in San Diego (though when he asked in January if he could go, he was told no) and we booked flights to go in early April, and, tonight, I just found out that my sister-in-law got a job in Baltimore and will be moving there, followed by my brother-in-law once he finds a job, in a few weeks. I'm kind of sad by this last development even though I know they were planning to move there and that the sister-in-law has been looking for a job there for at least a month. Even though we don't have that much in common, I still like them and since we don't see each other that often I feel like the time we got to know each other was somewhat brief. Get-togethers with Adam's family frequently involves either watching or talking about sports (baseball in particular--Adam's immediate family at least are huge Mets fans) and the sister-in-law and I share an unspoken outsider status in this department so I don't know what I will do once she leaves.
