Worker ant

Our elevator is going out of service starting tomorrow for at least two months so for the past two weeks, save for the few days we went out or I went to the gym, I've been shopping and lugging things home. Unfortunately, my shopping lists were either incomplete or disorganized (or both) and, in the past week, I've made two trips to Trader Joe's, two trips to Whole Foods, and three trips to just one supermarket alone. Stocking up on food, at least for me, is also expensive (I tried going to a Costco-type store but walked out with about four things) and the timing is poor since I'm trying to save up for our trip next month. On this, the final weekend before we lose elevator service, I also woke up early yesterday to do laundry (only to discover that the machines would be free for the next hour and a half, which means I could've gotten that much more sleep) and cooked a lot of the dishes we probably won't be eating while our elevator is out of commission because of the ingredient weight factor. Not looking forward to walking up and down six flights of stairs for the next eight or more weeks..
