Weekend wrap-up
Last night was dinner with friends at Sticky Rice, a cute Asian fusian restaurant in the Lower East Side. The food was good but I ended up sleeping through an uncomfortable night from food poisoning afterwards. Then, long-awaited karaoke where I got to sing the two Lily Allen songs in their catalog (Alfie's a fun song to sing). Today, we went to the Singapore Chili Crab Festival which I was a bit disappointing. I was picturing a variety of Singaporean street foods and performers but there were only about five different types of foods and the performers were spaced out over the course of the day. I didn't even eat the signature dish (Singapore Chili Crab, of course) because it just looked too messy to eat and didn't come with the proper utensils for easier consumption. Tonight, we went to Adam's friend's place for dinner where we greeted by a very friendly kitty (Rusty, meet your match!) and with homemade macaroni and cheese and cinnamon expresso ice cream (yum!).
