The Pipettes
As some of you may recall, I was really excited about going to London this past summer since it's home to The Pipettes, a band I was obsessed with at the time. As it turned out, much to my dismay, they were playing in a festival in Paris the day we were leaving the city. I found out tonight that they're playing in New York in March and was really excited (I think this will be the first time they play on this side of the pond) and just found out tickets are already sold out. I am so bummed--I'm not crazy enough about any band to shell out a lot of money for tickets on ebay or craigslist but I really like this band a lot. I haven't given up hope yet though..
