The Pipettes
I recently discovered my new favorite band, The Pipettes, this all-female trio from England, and was excited about going to London and France and the prospect of seeing one of their shows, especially since they haven't seemed to cross the pond to the US yet. Unfortunately, they don't have any shows scheduled in London the three days we'll be in London but they're performing at a festival in Paris the day we're leaving. Since our flight doesn't leave til after 5, I was hoping we'd be still be able to catch their show but, alas, I just found out today they're performing at 5:30/6. On top of that, their first album releases in England the day after we leave London (there's no US release planned)..
